Biography:
Meladie Munch began teaching in the Jefferson Parish Public School System in October, 1976 prior to becoming a JFT staff member in 1983. In 1984, Meladie became the Secretary-Treasurer for the Jefferson Federation of Teachers and has continued in that position until being recently elected as President of JFT. Meladie was appointed to the JFT Health and Welfare Fund's Board of Trustees in December 2008. |

Sharon Wegner was an employee of the Jefferson Parish Public School System for 31 years and retired in August 2003 as the Director of Adult Education. She is the Director of the Jefferson Parish Workforce Connection. Sharon was appointed to the JFT Health and Welfare Fund's Board of Trustte in 1983 and serves as the Secretary for the Fund.
